Community Arts Centre Flooded

The past few weeks have been very eventful in Wanganui, and not in the most positive sense, as the region is recovering from the most devastating flood the region has seen in a century. The affected buildings included the Whanganui Community Arts Center, the location of the Starting point Exhibition for the Artists Open Studios Art Trail.

The building was damaged by the raising waters, but thanks to community volunteers the repair works have started started as soon as the water drained away
